The event was a success and we would definitely like to do it again. Obviously some things could be improved though, so we're looking to hear some feedback from you guys who attended.
What did you like/dislike? How would you do things differently? Do you have any ideas/suggestions for games? Any kind of feedback like this would be greatly appreciated.
Also, thank you to all who attended!

I spent my time in the Chance Cube challenge, and I loved it. The only feedback I'd have for that is to focus solely on Chance Cubes or packs with a single item drop. The packs didn't work quite as well and got to be less exciting.
That said, I had a thought on that, though it is a bit reliant on the store having them again: ultra high stakes Chance Cubes with Galactic Legends armor packs with a buyin of 10m or something.

I too spent most of my time with the ChanceCube Challenge and loved it. However I switched back and forth between packs and cubes and really enjoyed the variety. Packs involve more of a random element and you have to pick one of items. You could in fact choose an item from the pack that is NOT the highest value so it adds yet another layer to the gamble. I liked it.

The events are great - I can't imagine how much time and effort must go into them...
Our pub side guilds don't get events and some don't seem to have a clue just what they are. We may want to do an event on pub side just to get them a little more involved, maybe some incentive too join imp side for events and other activities.

The Packs came about because there was a just plain massive shortage of Chance Cubes. None of us expected you all to go through 230+ Chance Cubes in a single night of the event (6 hours - nearly 40 packs an HOUR!). We ended up having to pinch buy Chance Cubes at not quite twice what the buy-in we were asking from players was... so we kind of took it in the shorts on that one. However, it was worthwhile in that so many players really enjoyed it, and so we tried to come up with a solution that would mean people could play it a second night and we wouldn't have to just shut it down due to lack of Chance Cubes.
I'm glad you guys enjoyed it though! Just a little feedback on why the packs were introduced into the game. Ideally we would keep it just to Chance Cubes, but with a limited supply that might just not be possible in the future.

We may want to do an event on pub side just to get them a little more involved, maybe some incentive too join imp side for events and other activities. The events are for ALL of our guilds. The only reason we held it on the IMP side (and couldn't on the PUB side) is due to the fact that the slot machines for that contest (and the casino theme in general) cannot be donated to the guild using credits, so they were only available on the IMP 1 flagship. I have suggested a PUB side event, or one night of a weekend-long event focused on the PUB side at our Pub Builders meetings. Please come and join us on Monday night for our next meeting and share these and any other ideas you have for our PUB guilds with us!

This event was the sole catalyst for my leveling a new imp toon. I was just going to leave it at whatever level it was after a few hours, or a day. It turned out that I absolutely loved the class and thus took it to 70 and started grinding gear (and will continue). As such, I now have a viable DPS toon on each faction which helps the guild (commander runs - ops etc) and keeps me from being limited to one side. Pubbers are only limited by what they wont get involved with. I no longer feel like that this is primarily an imp guild, or that I can't partake in things that happen on the imp side... and all it took was a toon that I enjoyed as much as I what I considered my main, on the other side.

The event was really fun! There was a few games I didn't play, but the games I did play were fun. I really loved the racing, Elle did a great job with that. However, with the racing I thought that maybe the course should be switched up every couple of matches or so. I don't mean like doing the race backwards or doing it on mounts, I mean like actually changing the course from time to time so it's something different. I think we could add other games such as companion dueling, this would be where companions duel it out but they have to be close to the same influence. We could do battle of the minds, where we have a room set up different each time and have people try to remember what is in the room who ever remembers the most wins some xx amount of credits. Or maybe a shopping contest, where we have different officers have a specific item we have to buy from them and whoever gets all the items first wins. Also think that for the lotto maybe there can be 50 winners that win 25 mil each still comes out to 1.2 billion credit all together. Other than that I loved the event looking forward to doing it all over again! ![:)](//storage.proboards.com/forum/images/smiley/smiley.png)

Does the winners masterlist include the raffle? Unfortunately that was the only game I was able to take part in.

Let me say that the event was amazing. The following is strictly my observations and since I am a shitter take it with a grain of salt:
Because of the variety of games some where obviously more popular than others and because of this certain games: black jack and chance cube in particular, it became very busy. With one staffer managing the game the wait was sometimes 10mins + which discouraged me in particular from trying it or re-trying the game.
I was only there the first night so I do not know if any changes were in place - for example the Russian roulette was not as busy yet it took away 3 staff members that could of been doing black jack or chance cubes as well. As far as the chance cubes, it could of been 4 v 4 rather than 2 v 2 that could of made playing quicker. Or instead of having all the staff starting at 6pm you could of had some games run 6-9 then other game with other staffer run 9-12am. This would of encouraged more participation in the less popular games because the variety was limited - i,e more people for obstacle race!
You guys rock and the night was amazaballs!
On a serious note, the amount of time and dedication the staff put in was ridiculous! It was an amazing time and we're lucky we have this guild who actually gives back to its members!

The only suggestion I would have for the event is to use the space a bit more on the ship. The main area where we all load in and use the banks, ect, opens to a huge open area that houses consoles and such. Remove those decorations and use those sections for games. You have the two on each side, then up the large space farther back. This would allow players to be in the same area and see each other more. Waiters can get to more peeps faster.
I am not sure if this would cause more lag or something but that is the only suggestion I can think of. The games were set up great, fun to watch and or play, and the atmosphere was perfect. It felt like a casino and win or lose, I very much enjoyed my time on Friday night. Next event, I will plan accordingly to have more funds available to lose. haha
I said this before but will say it again, the staff and event planners did an amazing job. It takes A LOT of work to set these things up, much less have them roll off as well as they did!

I second what Kray said. It was awesome, but wait at times was too long. Truth is, next time it may be a different game that needs more officer presence.

This was an awesome event. The amount of work it took to put this together and the credits it took alone tells of the dedication the guild has to provide excitement for its members. Although i did not try all of the events I did witnessed the fun it provided for so many people. Definitely one of the best events in game i have attended to date. i do agree with others that the wait time at times could be improved since some guildies have limited time to play and it would have been great if more staff was available to take turns in the different event. I can't imagine the energy it took to sit and man (or woman) an event for 6 hours straight. Thanks to all the staff that made that possible, you guys deserve some serious recognition. I love the blackjack twist very ingenous (even though i lost but made me feel like Vegas, I lost everything there too) You guys did great hope BW notices and gives you all jobs ![;)](//storage.proboards.com/forum/images/smiley/wink.png) .

i know it is just reiterating what many have already said, but this was an awesome event! i am really grateful for all of the hard work that our staff put into it! Thank you guys so much. The only thing that would have made it better would have been to have won just one boxing match lol ![:))](//storage.proboards.com/forum/images/smiley/cheesy.png) Looking forward to the next event and to the commander runs that help to make it happen. And ps-Thanks for the post-event 16 man ev run..that was a lot of fun as well!

Ah, the boxing: When staff was reiterating the rules ringside, we had to remove all buffs BUT could keep our HP buffs. That makes no sense to me. I for one removed all buffs period. Did that put me at a disadvantage? I didn't check my opponent to see what buffs he/she might have kept so I don't know if they had a HP buff.
My suggestion is to remove the HP buff exception.
