Tuk’s Vendor Directory Post 4
SECTION X REPUTATION VENDOR
Location: In the staging area in the Section X position of the planet of Belsavis.
Vendor’s Name: Lieutenant Greve (Imperial) / Lieutenant Falk (Republic)
Initial Thought: This vendor is a reputation grind which was added to the game in November 2012 and although it is several years old it generally remains a forgotten treasure by the uniformed.
Gear: This vendor sells two completely different sets of legacy gear which are obtainable for just under 90,000 credits each, the catch however is that the appropriate reputation is needed to purchase the gear. The first legacy armor is called the Republic Section Guardian Outfit and is only obtainable by Republic toons, with the second set being Imperial only gear called the Imperial Section Guardian Outfit. This set of armor is identical in appearance and color the only difference is that the Republic version has a trooper style helmet and the Imperial possesses the Imperial shark-fin style of helmet.
Both of these vendors just happen to be wearing their respected armor for display, but if you look close enough I think Lieutenant Falk has gained a few pounds, his armor looks a bit snug.
Pets: For those vanity pet collectors out there you can pick up a Baby Drouk, now I’m not sure if there is any direct relations to Dreadtooth himself but I can confirm that these are at least distant cousins to the fearful bipedal predator.
Decorations: This vendor also sells a wide collection of decorations, all of which are obtainable from Universal Prefab MK-3 pieces. Although these pieces of pottery decoration are not really that attractive when compared to other pottery pieces, there is some value here because on the Galactic Trade Network they are extremely rare and can easily go for some decent credits. Since there is six different pieces of pottery decoration, ranging from bronze vases to Rakata Bowls, one could easily corner the market and find a bit of wealth in the process.
Schematics: For those Artiface crafters here is one of the real gems of the vendor as he sells the Schematic: Primary Deep Red and Black Dye Module for 100,000 credits. Here is where some credits can be earned as these dyes tend to go for an easy 80,000 credits each and typically fly off of the Artiface shelves. The other benefit of this schematic is that it just happens to be the official dye of the guild, therefore it is always in demand...therefore when you craft a few make sure to donate a few as well.
Final Thoughts: Although this vendor may provide mostly nostalgia for the old salty players, its real value in in the Artiface pattern and potential in selling decorations. Other than that there is a clear reason why the vendor has been nearly forgotten.
Well my fine old friends remember to stay active in and out of the game, happy hunting and I will hopefully see you around...Tuk out.
