Tuk's Vendor Directory Post 1
LIGHT SIDE VENDOR
Location: Galactic Trade Market District on the Fleet
Vendor’s Name: Lord Vassanar (Imperial) / Mira (Republic)
Initial Thought: This vendor has been tucked away on the Fleet ship since launch however for whatever reason has remained unknown to a vast amount of the public. So, either the vendor has a bonus in its stealth skill or people are just blind womp rats who are unable to navigate the fleet with the use of hologram signs.
Gear: This vendor has some decent looking classic SWTOR gear, however none of it is Legacy bound and the vendor has failed us in even acquiring full fear sets. Therefore, you may get some gloves and boots however if you want to get the full gear look you must go elsewhere…not really a smart marketing strategy if you ask me.
Mounts: If you are a Light V character you can gain the extremely stylish Praxon Aero mount for only 300K. A fine piece of aerodynamic durasteel hardware, able to navigate the dunes of Tatooine without blowing a cylinder vluxvent. And for those Achievement Hunters out there, this mount is also needed to help complete the Legacy: Possession “Praxon Collector” Achievement.
Pets: What is better than riding around on Tatooine on your new Praxon Aero mount, well, being chased by a tiny Little Sandcrawler of course. Yes, you heard me, you too can have your very own tiny sandcrawler vanity pet…the best part of owning this is that if you look real close you can even see some tiny jawas jumping in and out of the Little Sandcrawler vessel...you must look close but I promise they are there.
Decorations: Here is where the vendor earns his worth as he has a small collection of decorations that are only usable by those who are devoted to the Light Side…and for my readers who don’t know if they are devoted to the Light Side or not, it’s a good idea that you just walk away now, this guide is not for you…anyways, there are two key pieces of decorations here. First there is the Light Side Circular Sign which is sold to Light V characters for only 5000 credits, extremely cheap if you ask me. Then there is the Lightsaber Forge (Jedi) decoration which is purchasable for a single Universal Prefab MK-3. But the real treasure here is that neither of these pieces of decoration are bind on pickup, therefore they can be sold in the Hutt controlled markets for whatever markup the uninformed is willing to pay…you my friend are no longer part of that group, so congratulations. On a side note, if you are going to attempt to earn some decent coins on those uninformed then please don’t undercut me too much…I’ve been exploiting them for years and would like to continue making some profit, thanks shitters, odds are you have stopped reading a while ago, therefore you have and will remain part of the uninformed anyways.
Titles: This vendor always has a Stronghold Title which is only useable by those who have reached the Light V ranking, again if you don’t understand what that is, either catchup or walkaway, SWTOR isn’t for you. The title is Temple of Light or Jedi Academy, this depending if the game glitches for you or not, long explanation so don’t ask, and much like the decorations above, they too are not bind on pick up, which means again you can easily make a few coins on those who are uninformed. Once again if this is the case then please don't be an asshat and undercut me too badly.
Final Thoughts: Honestly, it’s kind of a shitty vendor to pick first, but there is some value in these guys. Again, they have been on the fleet for five years now, their goods haven’t been updated since launch but still the uninformed have remained uninformed.
Well my fine guild shitters, that’s all I have for you today, hopefully you found a few gems in there…happy hunting and I will see you around...Tuk out.
