We pick planets based on conquer titles that people need, not bonuses typically. That is not to say we couldn't do that at some point. Keep the suggestions for CQ contest ideas coming though, guys. We will almost certainly be reworking the Legacy Wide CQ contest we did at the Christmas event, and perhaps the weekly ones as well if there is a suggestion that makes sense, is fair, and is affordable over the long term.
We are trying to reward those that earn CQ every single week, and especially in the guilds that need it the most (encouraging our people to get used to switching guilds and pushing in the ones that need help is key to our long term success). I like a lot of the suggestions I'm hearing!

the biggest problem that effects me, is the fact, i can sit there and grind 350k conquest points a week during regular weeks on one character, or i can grind 15 characters 20+ a week, but only the big number at the top of the board is noticed, nobody sees all the alts that grind, it makes people forced to chose between working on alts and being available for locks outs or doing their own thing and just grinding a few characters for big scores, i dont know a solution except to assign a officer to go though the legacys every week and tally up scores, of which i doubt anybody would volunteer for that, there has to be some sort of API available you can use to export guild roster information, though i dont know much about this

How I think you should do the competition is that people get 5 million if they score in the top 10 for every guild that invaded that week. This would mean a potential maximum payout of 50 million each week (30 most weeks). It forces people to a) earn points in all guilds and b) earn more points in the guild that needs it due to there naturally being more competition in that guild since most people will be pushing in that guild. And since you only need top 10 in the other guilds there won't be unnecessary fights for 1st place in guilds that don't need points. This does restrict the number of people who win a prize each week to 10 however if you look at the chart there aren't that many people really competing each week anyway. I would scrap this extra comp since the weekly one would be doing it already, basically. This would require people to have alts earning CQ in each guild and punish those that use only a single character or two to earn CQ, as when they left a guild to push points in another guild, their name would disappear from the top 10 points earners (due to not being in the guild any longer). Plus, if we made it so that you had to earn points in every guild that invaded that week, it would require people with only Imp toons to have Republic toons (at least 2) or people with only Republic toons to have Imp toons (at least 3). I just don't know how we could put those stipulations on people and still call it fair... but I like the concept of making the contest guild-wide somehow and focusing on guilds that need points rather than encouraging horse races in guilds where points are wasted. That happens frequently, and it's not what we're looking to reward people for doing.

I almost never win top 3 because I grind CQ on no less than 20 characters a week, nearly every single week. If my legacy score was added up every week, I would utterly crush all competition. This week - I completed my personal 50k goal (and more on many of them) on 44 characters for BBB. That is not exaggerating... 44 characters. And, I had that done on the first day. If I had continued pushing with any/all of them... it would have been impossible to beat that score even though the next event is 2 months away. This is to illustrate that #1 - I hear you! and #2 - Crafting week should be separate. Unfortunately, there is no way to export the guild roster from the game. The only ways of tracking this type of thing would be manually, and I would add painfully as it would take more time than any of us has to give. However, we can sort the guild rosters by legacy, and perhaps just count up the number of members of each legacy that accomplish their personal goal (not add up each score, but at least note how many reached their goal that week) and give a separate weekly prize for those that had the most in their legacy. I will make the suggestion at our next meeting and see if we can devise a way of adding this to the competition.

You can sort by legacy under guild menu and then sort by conquest points, but again that is time consuming really. I did conquest on every single character I have on my account, now granted that isn't nearly as much as babydoll has, but every one of my toons achieved minimum and then some. On one toon I pushed over 2mil, but I was also anticipating for an unknown guild to come out of nowhere on Friday or Saturday and put us on our toes as has happened before. Ultimately it didn't so I burned through a ton of mats unfortunately.
It sounds like a good idea, but again would take someone's time, and a lot of it on a Monday to sort through all the conquest points in the guild. This week BBB1 had over 40mil in conquest points... I can't imagine where I would start trying to sort 40mil and add that up.
Keep in mind that our guild staff and officers do not get paid for this (believe me, I speak from experience) and we give a lot of time and effort into the guild. As a former Mafioso I had to step down because I wasn't able to dedicate all that time and juggle everything going on in my life both personally and professionally.
Keep conquest ideas coming though!
