also if a officer can get in touch with me and tell me what my actual rank is in the guild i would be grateful, the website says unranked, i am just confused as my characters are all ranked differently, thanks The ranks on the website do not really correspond to the game, and are not usually used unless it is necessary (as it changes nothing, your access to the forums, etc is the same regardless of your rank except in the case of the officers). It is kind of your responsibility to keep track of your ranks in-game also. With thousands of members there is absolutely no possible way we can track everyone... so that's up to you to take care of/monitor. Whichever toon has the highest rank in any of our guilds is your rank legacy-wide. Leave a member note on all toons that need their rank fixed, and I will get to it as soon as I can.

Prize amounts will be sent out within the next couple of days. So about the prizes, can we get them now? Especially with this week being craft week, those credits would come in handy!

Due to Sino's absence, this has been on hold. Maddiea and I went ahead and sent out the top 10 prize earner's winnings today (check your in-boxes!), along with the following 20 people, chosen randomly from the 11 - 100th place finishers and they each received 5 million via in-game mail. Congratulations, Everyone! To make claiming easier, here are a list of the winners, which guild they are in, and the character to which their prize money was mailed: LEGACY | GUILD | CHARACTER MAILED | Hope - 1st place | Imp 1 | Kes-sel | Sarmis - 2nd place | Imp 1 | Akamon | Skipper - 3rd place | Imp 1 | Skinnyblue | Ravenhurst - 4th place | Imp 1 | Kayin | Elite - 5th place | Imp 1 | Naijin | Fresh - 6th place | No longer in guild | N/A | Endless - 7th place | Imp 1 | Corrakkas | Lynx - 8th place | Imp 1 | Seegwun | Gunman - 9th place | Imp 1 | Cyberzombie | Feminista - 10th place | Imp 1 | Y'zi | RANDOM WINNERS FROM 11 - 100: | GUILD
| CHARACTER MAILED
| Ryu | Imp 1 | Itr | Affluent | Imp 1 | Whornii | Starbreeze | Imp 1 | Dol'os | Akros | Imp 2 | Cebbe | Iapetionides | Imp 1 | Maeldir | Lockesly | Imp 1 | Fuchsia Groan | Exmachina | Imp 1 | Liliapetaline | Vermilion | Imp 3 | Flora | Toxicwrath | Pub 1 | Yamelia | Unbelievable | Imp 1 | Domino | Asadar | Imp 1 | Exar Kun | Darksoul | Imp 1 | Tankawiz | Mor'draug | Imp 1 | Uidor | Sahasra | Imp 2 | Arahdia | Mew | Imp 1 | Angrier | Alonne | Imp 1 | Ossiphus | Docwoody | Imp 1 | Kik Umore | Amparan | Imp 1

"No longer in guild." LOL.... Yeah, he went inactive about 2 seconds after that first crafting week I think. This is why I do not think crafting weeks should be included in this contest. It is unfair because huge CQ numbers can be easily racked up by just clicking buttons and logging off. As you will see, 4 of the top 10 did almost nothing outside of crafting that one week and took away over 50% of the prize money. I would rather see this contest reward those that put up good CQ every single week... and you know... those that like... stay in the guild.

I too was looking at that and saw that a lot of the winners just put up numbers that one week and failed to really do anything afterwards...so to me if you place well on Crafting Week then you can take the next couple months off and still be placed in the top bracket. Simple strategy...who can out-craft the others best.

This way not only it would incentive people to get more points but also on the right place. You guys could also do a separate contest for crafters (or both).

It may not be possible to separate weekly gains per guild. Tracking character's movement during a week is too much work.

It would be great to find a way to reward those who switch guilds to earn points where they are needed. I will consider possible ways to do this, but again... with thousands of members it would be really tough to track. Maybe just an extra flat bonus to the top 10 in the guild that had to be pushed the hardest that week, but that doesn't always happen either. Not sure.
I am also not even sure we will do this again, as it was a looooot of work to compile weekly scores for 100 people in the guild for that many weeks. It will be up to Sino if we repeat this in the same way, and any changes that are made to the contest (like separating crafting week) will have to be decided by him. I will continue to suggest that they be separated, however, as I feel like it is completely and utterly unfair to include it and the people who do conquest every week (not just crafting week) are the people that we aim to reward for their efforts.
Thanks you guys, for all your work to help us win Conquest every week! Happy New Year!

If you're busting out 3-6 million CPs on a legacy (or more if you're the Hope legacy guy) during a crafting week you either blew a few dozen million on mats, or spent weeks farming mats (or both). My 3rd place finish let me break even on the mats for this week's crafting and the next one (the one with only three planets coming up in Feb). Meanwhile, grinding PVP/GSF/Ops is free.

Farming mats on planets is also free, not to mention that the guild bank has been stocked with a decent amount of mats for quite some time that are free for the taking in the name of conquest. Edited to add: I farmed 100% of the crafting mats I used when I earned 15 million points across my legacy, and it did not take weeks. Farming, especially on Zakuul, is dead easy.
Plus, you can crank out WAY more points a trillion times faster with crafting than any other conquest activity. It takes a lot more effort to form up, participate, and succeed at the non-crafting CQ activities you mention. There is no way to fail at crafting. It is apples and oranges and should not be compared or in the same contest, IMHO.

For crafting you can also use lower lewel mats. Put few utility nodes in your stronghold and collect mats whenever you login to your toon. You can do it in preparation for next crafting week. It is completely free, other than your time. Nodes may have to be picked up and placed back again from time to time to unlock them. Low level war supplies give the same points as higher level supplies. Here is a good list: tord.mmo-fashion.com/resource-node-material-yields

How I think you should do the competition is that people get 5 million if they score in the top 10 for every guild that invaded that week. This would mean a potential maximum payout of 50 million each week (30 most weeks). It forces people to a) earn points in all guilds and b) earn more points in the guild that needs it due to there naturally being more competition in that guild since most people will be pushing in that guild. And since you only need top 10 in the other guilds there won't be unnecessary fights for 1st place in guilds that don't need points.
This does restrict the number of people who win a prize each week to 10 however if you look at the chart there aren't that many people really competing each week anyway. I would scrap this extra comp since the weekly one would be doing it already, basically.

Need some new BBB squad-goals like 100,000,000 on a single planet to crush other guilds' sprits. Pick the right planet with the right bonus (not like this week) and it's doable. (Throw in a bonus for top performers to make it more interesting.
